sugar + spice

It's 1975, and her world glows.
Saffron is daydreaming in a secret loft.

She was born under the a bright star, and craves light: a daughter of the Earth, yet somehow more a being of the Sun. She was birthed, and called Saffron, and for the most part left to her own devices. Her mother was a transient soul, and brought the baby to her wealthy, aloof mother for some stability.

Saffron grew up living in a self-dreamed world of magic. The walls of her grandmother's manor house crush her; cavernous and cold, seeping gloom from every crack, even in the full light of Day. Scared of the house ever since she could remember, and pining for sunlight, she took to wandering the surrounding meadows and tiny village nearby in her wild patterns and vibrant colors.

She's a ghost, an in-between.
Her favorite place is a carpeted, yellow-curtained loft, at the top of a spiral staircase.
It was originally a wood-paneled storage area for leafy plants in cold weather, but the little shop that took care of the plants shut down, and just left everything. When she stumbled onto the loft, Saffron fell in love with the glowing room. She nursed each of the wilted plants back to life, and began to spend all her time reading and daydreaming in her hideout.

sanguine

A quiet suburban motel is haunted by the bloodied spirit of a girl all in white. She appears on nights of the new moon with looped braids and eyes crying red and painted with dark, cryptic symbols. The ghastly soul haunts all who make a stay during the dark nights of the absent moon.

lierre, the enchantress of flora

You know she's come when you feel that first cool breeze signaling the change of the season.
with a whisper, a hush, a sweet scent of ripened apples hanging off every leaf.
Her name is Lierre and she, like the leaves that she is named for, flutters throughout the orchard.
she was raised by the trees and sleeps with the grass.
Lierre makes her home in an apple orchard hidden amongst the birch branches + rows of fruit trees.
she always watches as people come to pick the apples she helps her trees bear.
Her simple touch is nourishment to the buds and blossoms, it is her nature to know nurture only flora.
Her hair is a dazzling, glowing earthy green and her eyelids are painted a poison red.
in nature, we know, creatures with toxicity are colored with alarming hues to keep away all threats.
Feuille will never come in contact with humans as they are almost always a threat to her and her world of luminescent, sapphire isolation.
soon this glowing vision will quietly sleep hidden under the frozen earth...

regina + lacey, fearless foxes

Regina and Lacey are two of those girls that you just know better than to ever mess with. They stomp around town with free-flowing tresses and black lacquered lips, smoking hand-rolled cigs and chasing the skater-boys off of 'their' territory. Amongst the two of them, they have a vast collection of beaded chokers, handmade patches, and midriff baring shirts aplenty. They rule the school in style with their spikes and layered chains and baby-doll eyeliner.
The girls met while each planning an elaborate revenge scheme on their unfaithful boyfriends only to find out that each other was the 'other woman'. So they kicked the dead-beat to the road and figured that a lasting friendship was bound to happen and so much more worth it than dull drama with some teen-aged loser. We all know most 'normal' people have problems with those with fearless personalities and confident, forward fashion choices but somehow, despite all the rumors that rampantly plague the school halls, these two babe-a-licious bffs just do what they want, answering to no-one, and having the blast of a lifetime while doing it.
stick with the bad ass babes for life!
