regina + lacey, fearless foxes

Regina and Lacey are two of those girls that you just know better than to ever mess with. They stomp around town with free-flowing tresses and black lacquered lips, smoking hand-rolled cigs and chasing the skater-boys off of 'their' territory. Amongst the two of them, they have a vast collection of beaded chokers, handmade patches, and midriff baring shirts aplenty. They rule the school in style with their spikes and layered chains and baby-doll eyeliner.
The girls met while each planning an elaborate revenge scheme on their unfaithful boyfriends only to find out that each other was the 'other woman'. So they kicked the dead-beat to the road and figured that a lasting friendship was bound to happen and so much more worth it than dull drama with some teen-aged loser. We all know most 'normal' people have problems with those with fearless personalities and confident, forward fashion choices but somehow, despite all the rumors that rampantly plague the school halls, these two babe-a-licious bffs just do what they want, answering to no-one, and having the blast of a lifetime while doing it.
stick with the bad ass babes for life!

georgette, the class riot

If you try to imagine Georgette, imagine that girl that doesn't fit into any one school clique, she doesn't speak much because she doesn't want to waste her breath. she thinks so far beyond dates, homework, makeup tips + magazines... there's nothing there for her. she does, however, have an aura that surrounds her down every hallway and into every study hall.. everywhere she goes.. She has a kind of confidence that someone is born with. It's often an intimidating one that can make staring her down impossible, even though you can't help but admire her unapologetic, waist slung, flannel and high tied, button down crop top. Georgette wears gold ribbons and pigtails in her glossy, black hair every single day. Those along with, the flannel and her white button down crop is the uniform of the infamous girl gang, SSG aka Surburban Street Girls.
Georgette + her badass, crimson-haired best frend, Ophelia, who graduated last year, made a solemn promise as childhood friends to start the aforementioned SSG with one sole purpose... to have fun anywhere and everywhere they may be. Granted, this supreme goal makes it a bit hard to concentrate on the typical teen dramas and class participation, they still have the best time ever, be it in the school fields after hours or breaking into the county fairgrounds late at night!

so remember... if you ever want to join Georgette and the SSG, you just gotta have fun!

cardine, the dream rebel

Cardine is a 17-year-old rebellious youth who won't appear without her trademark thick, black cat-eye lines or her signature silky, teal curls neatly pinned up. You'll hardly see her in math class or the cafeteria because she's got other plans. Other plans that the average, squared-out teen kid just wouldn't understand. She's got no need for any silly boy, be it a punk or a jock, because they take up too much time and flirting is sure to hold her back. See, Cardine wants to be a badass, no-good, drop-out rockstar. But she's a smart girl and totally knows that dropping out's no good, so she simply tunes out of the daily lecture hall and dreams on a scale that we could only hope to imagine.
Smacking her perfect, cherry-red stained lips at herself in the bathroom mirror, she casts you a side glance while you're rinsing the soap off of your palms and it sends shivers of fear down your spine. But you can't help but feel that fright mix with admiration; for that sheer, cool glare she stares has a rare kind of intensity. An intensity that her blue, crystilized eyes can deliver with unmistakable aim. It delivers, spot on, the proof that Cardine's breed is an unforgettable one.
stay cool, cats.

CULT OF FILM: devil in the flesh

This seriously 90's, seriously angst-ridden flick was definitely over the top and kinda ridiculous in the best possible way. It's about this angry-at-heart girl named Debbie Strand who instantly falls hard for her much older english teacher Peter Rinaldi, after transferring to a new school due to her house burning down (obviously debbie dearest smoked the place up). Rose McGowan plays Debbie and is totally scary and beyond badass.. at first she has cool style and all that with an assortment of crop tops and patterned bottoms but then, pretty quickly, she goes on a killing spree ending all those who stand in the way of her one true love (who totally doesn't even love her back).
the campy, exploitation factor of this movie is ultra-high for being a lifetime movie... yeah that's right lifetime in the 90's was a wild, wild place. (i still can't honestly believe that this was a lifetime movie.. she beats her grandma to death with her own cane). Also, the plot twist at the end was actually slightly surprising for like a minute.. but we all know we're not watching this movie for it's perfect plotline.. we're watching it because rose mcgowan plays crazy badgirl in the best way possible.
